DIETS DON’T FUCKING WORK.
What? Oh but you lost 5000 pounds by doing the “skinny-mofo-eat-dust” diet? Dudette, good for you, BUT you’re either gonna gain it all back or lead a really strict life being miserable because you’re trying to stick to a diet and not gain the weight back.
Diets just lead you into a circle of restrict-splurge. Honestly.
This is a life lesson my parents taught me and that I live by: Moderation is key. This applies for everything folks. Be it food, exercise, studying, social life, everything.
In this case, you’ve GOT to allow yourself to have that muffin. But, just have half of it, and give the rest to your brother/sister/dog/cat/goblin. Seriously.
You don’t have to deny your favorite foods, you’re just going to make fat-loss a friggin nightmare.
